Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and responsible individuals to supervise students with special educational needs (SEN) during their journeys to and from school. You will work within our private hire vehicles, which may be either a car or a minibus depending on the nature of the route route.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing reassurance and assistance to individuals with SEN. Ensuring passengers have a safe and comfortable journey. Communicating effectively with parents, school staff, and our organisation.

We are excited to welcome likeminded individuals to join our growing team at Techxi. Experience in working with children or adults with additional or complex needs is advantageous, but not required--training will be provided.

Once you express interest in the role, we will contact you to ensure it's a suitable fit.

DBS Check:

We will run an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at no cost to you. However, you will need to subscribe to the DBS Update Service at the cost of 16 per year.

Pooling:

Upon completion of the previous 2 steps you skillset and locale will be assessed to make sure it works with the schools requirements.

Training:

Depending on the route specification, additional training may be required, such as

Safeguarding

,

Epilepsy Awareness, First Aid, Conflict Resolution and Autism Awareness

courses. We will arrange this training as required.

Salary:

All school routes pay a minimum

130 per week

for a full 10 trips over a 5-day week. Fixed rate of

75 per week

for this specific route which only goes in the mornings, Monday to Friday. If it does move to 10 trips per week then we will pay

150 per week.

All roles will be Monday to Friday. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to these as working days.

These roles are exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and are subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Holding a current enhanced DBS certificate and being subscribed to the Update Service will be highly advantageous.
