As a Passenger Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during their journey. You will assist individuals, particularly those with mobility challenges or special needs, in navigating transport services. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming environment for all passengers.
Responsibilities
Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
Provide support to individuals with disabilities or special requirements, helping them navigate transport facilities.
Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide appropriate assistance.
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with passengers and colleagues.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the transportation process.
Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities promptly.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the transport area.
Skills
Have to complete all relevant course from Warwickshire or in the process of completion
Strong customer service skills, with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritising passenger needs.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to passenger transport is advantageous. This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a positive impact on the travel experience of others.
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
