We currently have a vacancy for Passenger Service Agents based at Aberdeen Airport.
The successful candidates will perform the following functions:
Check in passengers (and when necessary, assess any special needs).
Check travel documentation and ensure passengers meet security requirements.
Process and take payments for excess baggage.
Meet flights and assist with inbound passengers as required.
Board flights and make announcements.
The successful applicant will need to be a service minded individual, preferably with previous experience working in other customer facing roles.
Key competencies include flexibility, teamwork skills, accuracy and the successful applicant must be fully conversant with using a computer. You should also have the ability to work under pressure.
The position will involve shift work, including weekends and Bank Holidays. The current shift pattern involves working 6 days on, 3 days off (3 early shifts, 3 late shifts, 3 days off).
Applicants must be able to provide 5 years checkable references and provide a clear criminal record check.
