Our role is based outdoors at Edinburgh Airport at the Taxi rank, We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and friendly people who enjoy helping customers and engaging with the public in the great Scottish outdoors, based at Edinburgh Airport.

Our customer hosts are responsible for being the first point of contact for members of the public at Edinburgh Airport who need a taxi. You will be outgoing, cheerful and willing to help people from all walks of life and backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be able to engage with customers easily attracting them towards out taxi rank and be a superstar in customer service skills.

You must be confident and happy to be based in an outdoor environment. This role would be ideal for someone with experience in sales as you will be engaging with customers looking for a taxi.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Engaging with customers in a positive and helpful manner at all times.

Completing Meet and Greets for passengers arriving at Edinburgh Airport.

Shift work starting 7am / 8am / 2pm / 6pm / 7pm

Answering questions from the general public in relation to booking and finding their taxi.

Booking journeys for customers using our booking system.

Directing customers to their waiting taxi.

Liaising with drivers on the rank waiting on passengers.

Liaising with our control team in regards to bookings and journeys.

Ensuring a calm and stress free experience for customers looking to book their taxi.

Pay: 13.65-14.15 per hour
