We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with efficiency and care.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Upsell menu items by suggesting specials or additional courses to enhance the dining experience. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while providing excellent guest services throughout the meal.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic culinary knowledge is advantageous for understanding menu items and assisting guests effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A proactive approach to helping others, ensuring that all guests receive attentive service throughout their visit. Familiarity with food safety regulations is beneficial for maintaining high standards of hygiene in the restaurant environment.
