The Opportunity: Pastoral and Intervention Manager
We're seeking an exceptional individual to lead safeguarding, behaviour and attendance across our Lincolnshire schools. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role at the heart of our inclusive, specialist education provision.
You will be the Designated Safeguarding Lead, responsible for welfare oversight, positive behaviour support, and proactive attendance engagement. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and external professionals to ensure every pupil is safe, supported, and able to reengage with learning.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance strategy across our Lincolnshire schools
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, families and external agencies
Chair multi-disciplinary meetings and oversee follow-up on actions and outcomes
Provide professional development, mentoring and reflective debriefs for staff
Use data and evidence to inform behaviour and safeguarding interventions
Conduct assessments for new pupils and support their transition into our services
Act as part of the senior leadership team, stepping in operationally as required

About You
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead in an educational setting
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and SEND provision
Trauma-informed approach and understanding of neurodivergent profiles
Skilled in behaviour analysis, incident debriefing, and positive re-engagement strategies
Experience leading in specialist SEND settings or within a local authority
Confident in chairing meetings, writing reports and delivering staff training
Empathy, resilience, and the ability to inspire others
