The Role - Pastoral Support Mentor

You'll play a vital part in the school's wellbeing team, supporting students with SEMH needs who may struggle with emotional regulation, confidence, behaviour, or engagement.
Your day could include:
Providing
1:1 and small?group pastoral mentoring
Supporting with
de?escalation
and emotional regulation
Building
trusting, consistent relationships
with students aged 11+
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
Working closely with wellbeing leads, teaching staff, and therapists
Creating a calm, safe, supportive environment where pupils feel grounded

What We're Looking For

You don't need every qualification in the world -- the right mindset matters most.
Experience in SEMH, SEN, youth work, or behaviour support is preferred.
You'll be a great match if you are:
