Communication Specialist College are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and inspirational individual to join the expanding Pastoral Team.
You will be providing early intervention to situations on site before they become bigger issues. You will be able to problem solve issues quickly, if possible, but ask for further support from the team if its needed.
You will offer support and guidance to young people with specialist communication needs including, Deafness, Autism and Learning Disabilities. You will be part of the team that our young people seek out and ask for support when times are hard.
Candidates should be able to show;
BSL qualification (willingness to work towards)
Experience of working with young people and adults who are Deaf, deaf and a person with hearing loss, learning difficulties and/or disabilities
Able to work as part of a team and communicate clearly
Able to understand and carry out instructions
