Pastoral Support Role - SEN School
Location: Southampton
Salary: 14.50 - 16.80 per hour (pro rata, but split evenly over 12 months)
Contract: Term-time only (40 hours/week)
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support member to join our team in our school setting. You will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and personal development of our students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and valued every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral care and support to students, helping them overcome personal or academic challenges
Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote student wellbeing
Support the implementation of school policies and pastoral initiatives
Maintain accurate records and contribute to monitoring student progress
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 12 months' experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in student welfare
