The Role:
As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts and pastry items under the guidance of the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Junior Sous Chef. Your duties will include
Preparing and producing pastry items using fresh ingredients and modern techniques
Ensuring the pastry section runs smoothly and efficiently each day
Maintaining high standards in all food prepared and served
Assisting in the preparation of staff meals, ensuring they are nutritious and wholesome
Supporting junior kitchen staff with training and development to ensure consistency in service and product delivery
Skills & Requirements:
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and food production
Ability to work well under pressure
Minimum NVQ Level 1 and CIEH Level 2 qualifications
Ideally, a year of experience in a similar Pastry Chef role
