Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented PAT Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure that electrical appliances are safe for use. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and the ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality assurance and the ability to analyse testing results effectively.

Duties

Conduct thorough PAT testing on a variety of electrical appliances to ensure compliance with safety standards. Inspect and assess the condition of electrical equipment before testing. Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all inspections performed. Identify any faults or issues with appliances and report findings to management. Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements as necessary. Collaborate with other team members to improve testing processes and enhance overall safety standards. Stay updated on current regulations and best practices related to electrical safety testing.

Skills

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles related to electrical safety. Ability to analyse test results and make informed decisions based on findings. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration. Proficiency in using PAT testing equipment and software. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
