Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Pathways Worker to be involved in setting up a new project within our well-established services in Collyhurst and across the Diocese of Salford. The Caritas Pathways Worker will provide support to households through signposting and guidance.

The Pathways Worker will support households to improve their overall financial position on the way to becoming financially independent. This will include supporting with ways to maximise income and reduce expenditure through individual planning, as well as supporting their health and well-being. You will build positive relationships with people helping them to gain confidence and skills which will help develop greater opportunities to volunteer and achieve employment.

You will work in strengths-based way, improving coproduction by involving people that use the services in decisions that affect their lives. Additionally, you will be able to communicate effectively delivering information and support in a range of methods. You will have excellent time management, IT and administration skills.

The hours of the role are from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with very occasional work required outside these hours during evenings and weekends by arrangement.
