Brentknoll Veterinary Centre are recruiting for an experienced Patient Care Assistant to join their team based in Worcester. This position will give you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in veterinary and client care. This position is a permanent full-time role working 40h per week.


We are seeking an experienced PCA who has a passion for animal welfare and keen to develop their knowledge and experience within the veterinary industry.

Assisting Veterinary Surgeons in consult. Cleaning, disinfection and preparation of patient accommodation. Actively maintain the hospital and follow infection control procedures. This will include sterilising and deep cleaning among other duties. Assist with reception and client care, including answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries, booking procedures and taking payments. Assist Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, and support staff where and when required. Work and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Demonstrate the ability to be reliable, adaptable, understanding and empathetic. Previous PCA/VCA experience is essential, ideally a minimum of 6 months.
