We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their healthcare journey. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services.
Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-up.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate seamless patient care and communication.
Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Support the administrative team with office tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Ensure a welcoming environment for patients by maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
Managing practice social media environment and coordinating patient feedback
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office environment, preferably within a healthcare or marketing setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in using office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
Knowledge of EMIS software system is advantage but not essential.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
