We are looking for a Patient Co-ordinator to work as part of our busy and dynamic team.

We are looking for someone to...

Work alongside the PAs to be the first and main point of contact for patients throughout their medical journey with the clinic. Assist with general office duties such as scanning medical notes and posting letters. Ensure mailboxes are kept organised and up to date and all enquiries are responded to in good time. Work with partner hospitals regarding outpatient and inpatient activity. Ensure the medical specialists are provided with a seamless service by managing their diaries. Provide occasional billing support to the external accounts team. Money will occasionally have to be taken from patients. Work with insurance companies to ensure that patient episodes are covered and relevant information is provided prior to the patient coming into the clinic.
Must have skills:

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Be a good team player. Great interpersonal and telephone manner. Be computer literate and confident (including Outlook, Word, Excel etc.). Be able and prepared to work early/late shifts within a working week with some Saturday morning shifts (on a rotational basis). Be prepared to work as a team to ensure the busy office is fully supported and all aspects of the administration is covered.
