is seeking a proactive and patient-focused Patient Navigator/Receptionist to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing exceptional care in a compassionate environment, where patients are always at the heart of what we do.
This is a part-time contract, 30 hours per week. The shifts available are: Monday from 1pm - 9pm; Tuesday from 8am - 9pm and Friday 8am - 2 pm.
You'll play a key role in delivering a seamless, patient-centric experience through efficient telephone and administrative support. In-house training in patient navigation will be provided to enable you to support and guide patients in accessing the right services and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently, managing high patient volumes
Direct calls and take messages as necessary
Sort, review, and distribute internal mail
Process outgoing mail following established procedures
Manage patient records by pulling, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents into electronic systems
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized, ready for use by colleagues
Receive and appropriately distribute incoming deliveries
The Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience as a patient navigator is desirable
Confident and professional telephone manner
Strong IT skills and familiarity with basic office software
Friendly, approachable, and patient with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to follow instructions and procedures with attention to detail
Highly organized with good communication skills
Able to work effectively with a wide range of people

, located within the Inner Leeds area, has a diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs. The Walk-in Centre is open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm including bank holidays.
