Job Title: Patient Pathway Administrator



Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, AMC Trauma Management



Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday



Trust Location: Queens Medical Centre Derby Road, Lenton Nottingham, NG7 2UH



Work Type: Temporary



What you'll be responsible for:



1. Accurately transcribing from Winscribe digital dictation and Winscribe Speech Recognition digital dictation, outpatient clinic letters and miscellaneous clinical correspondence to a high standard with specified timescales.

2. Use judgement and initiative to prioritise the importance/urgency of particular requests within defined guidelines

3. Undertake daily peer audit of clinical correspondence to ensure a high standard of accuracy and quality of work.

4. Ability to exchange sensitive or contentious information with diplomacy and in a confidential manner.

5. To undertake other specialty specific duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures to facilitate the patient pathway.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3.

A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:



Skills:



Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel.

High level customer service skills (Face to Face and telephone).

Fast and accurate audio typing skills and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Professional, polite and courteous attitude to work.
