We are a large, progressive medical centre passionate about providing great quality care to our 29,000+ patients. Our Patient Services Administrators are usually the first point of contact for patients, whether in person, by phone, by email or online.
We are looking for friendly, quick thinking people who can work well with our clinical teams to ensure that patients get timely help and advice from the person best able to help them. We offer a large variety of services so it is a real skill knowing what is available to meet the needs of the patients.
Successful candidates will have evidence of good customer service skills, be able to stay calm and caring in a busy environment and take pride in helping people from all walks of life. Empathy, sensitivity and confidentiality are qualities essential for this role.
IT skills are important and it is vital that you can undertake administrative tasks such as scanning, processing prescriptions and other office administration accurately.
This can be a varied role however taking incoming calls makes up a high proportion of this position. We have a large team who support each other to provide a comprehensive and efficient service to patients, management, doctors and other healthcare professionals within the Practice.
