As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient services department. Your responsibilities will include scheduling patient appointments, managing referrals, and providing administrative support. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
While previous customer-facing or administrative experience would be fantastic (Healthcare industry experience would be an added bonus) full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and fully capable in your new role!

Duties and Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate and triage patient referrals
Dealing with multiple enquiries by emails and telephone calls and provide excellent customer service to patients, referrers and commissioning groups.
Booking and coordinating clinics via different systems
Auditing patient lists and clinics to be accurate and efficient
Convert private patient enquiries into bookings
Processing clinical reports and images via different systems and deal with urgent reports
Liaising with the clinical team and senior management
Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Patient Services Manager
Job Summary:
To process and monitor patients booking in a timely and accurate manner and to meet the required KPIs.
To provide a high level of customer service and patient care
To be organized and proactive with good attention to details
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To be able to work on multiple IT systems
To act as main point of contact for customers at all levels
Experience and Qualities:
Exemplary customer service is a must
General knowledge of office procedures and policies
Confident knowledge of IT programs such as Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and
Excel is essential
Be a good team player and have a flexible approach to work
Excellent and adaptable communication skills in different situations
Effectively prioritize, organize and time manage heavy workloads and resources
Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with patients in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner
Confidentiality is key, therefore you must understand the importance and need for this whilst dealing with sensitive patient information
