1 x Patient Services Team Member - 24 hours per week
Monday 8-6, Wed 8-6, Fri 1.15-6.15
Must be able to travel and work between Strensall, Stamford Bridge, Huntington and Dunnington sites.
JOB PURPOSE:
To participate in the administrative function necessary to provide excellent medical care for patients and to contribute to the Practice goal of delivering the best customer service to our patients. To work in a team in co-operation with existing staff and management to gain an insight into practice policies and procedures. To maintain accurate records on the practices clinical system within the remit of your role. The highest levels of confidentiality must always be maintained.
Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing the 'Best' Customer Service to patients and clinicians and to ensure the effective running of the service. The role requirements are as follows, but are not limited to these points only and may be amended or new items added at the request of your Team Leader and Management:

Proficient in office administration with strong organisational abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Previous experience in a similar administrative role is advantageous but not essential
