Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security by monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and the ability to effectively manage various situations that may arise on duty. There will be a requirement to work both 8 and 12 hour shifts, during day, evening and night time hours, based on a rota.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activities. Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to ensure the safety of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Document and report any security breaches, incidents, or unusual occurrences in detail. Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during investigations or emergencies. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their concerns. Enforce company policies and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in loss prevention or security is highly desirable. Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous. Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
