Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within designated areas. This position involves regular patrolling, surveillance, and proactive measures to prevent loss and ensure the well-being of individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor CCTV systems to observe real-time activities and respond promptly to incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard property and assets from theft or damage. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals in emergency situations. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, providing support during investigations or emergencies. Engage with the public in a professional manner, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in surveillance or loss prevention is highly desirable. Certification in first aid is an advantage, with a willingness to undergo further training if necessary. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and understanding surveillance techniques is essential. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and respond quickly to potential threats. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A valid driver's licence may be required for patrolling duties across multiple locations.
