Catering
As a cricket club, we like to offer match teas for our own players and visiting teams, umpires and other match/league officials in some situations. An overall budget for the shopping and catering will be provided and gives the House Manager an opportunity to earn extra money on top of the standard wage should they wish to provide teas themselves, or organise the teas being sourced.
There would be the option for the Pavilion Manager to provide those teas every Saturday afternoon from April - September, whilst Men's fixtures are being played across our venue. The Women's first XI would also require match teas for their fixtures which are played on a Sunday (not every week). The Pavilion Manager would need to source food within a budget, prepare and lay the food out on the day, and clear up afterwards. These hours would be paid as additional.
The facility is also hired out and sometimes, these hires ask if we are able to provide buffet food. The Manager would have first option on catering for these events too. This aspect of the role will be discussed at interview and, for the right candidate, be negotiable.
