We are looking for a motivated professional to join our diverse Finance team, taking ownership of end-to-end payroll accounting across multiple European locations. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with HR, Finance, and Sales Operations, while ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. You will also deliver accurate, insightful financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
Act as a business partner to HR, Finance, and Sales Operations, gaining a detailed understanding of payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Collaborate on commission calculations and assess their accounting impact.
Manage monthly payroll reconciliations, including posting payroll-related entries into the accounting system.
Investigate and resolve payroll queries in close cooperation with payroll specialists.
Calculate capitalised labour and bonuses on a monthly basis.
Execute employee-related payments.
Deliver cost centre analysis to department heads and prepare ad-hoc analysis as required.
Support staff cost forecasting.
Contribute to the annual financial audit process.
Ensure tax compliance related to employment across all locations.
Stay current on payroll regulations and changes in relevant jurisdictions.
What do we want from you?
Part- or fully-qualified Accountant/Analyst with strong experience in European payroll processes and compliance
Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate data and present insights clearly
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, large dataset analysis)
Experience with Business Central and Salesforce (preferred, not required)
Solid understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, journals, year-end procedures, and audit support
Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes
Prioritisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Strong Collaborative mindset and a positive team spirit
