Job Summary


This position is responsible for administering complex payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. It requires close collaboration with the HR team to guarantee efficient and correct payroll processing. The focus of the role is to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal company policies while maintaining accuracy in staff payments. Additionally, the role involves maintaining payroll records and providing guidance on pay-related queries to employees. The Payroll Administrator will provide significant support for both the HR and Finance departments in the implementation of a new payroll system and processes

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Support the implementation of new payroll and HRIS systems by ensuring accurate data orientation and capture, conducting comprehensive testing, executing mock payroll runs, and managing parallel payroll processes to ensure a smooth transition, whilst remaining compliant. For the new payroll system, create SOPs and user guides, deliver training sessions, and communicate change management to impacted employees and departments. Administering and Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll for all MPUK employees. Manage tax code adjustments, and statutory leave payments (holiday, sick, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave etc.) Calculate and process overtime, allowances, workplace pension contributions and other variable payments. Ensure all Payroll Information, such as starters, leavers and variable payments, is processed effectively and efficiently as instructed by HR within the payroll deadlines. Ensure all Payroll information is treated as confidential, and all filing is kept up to date and is compliant with statutory requirements regarding confidentiality and personal data. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies. Liaising with finance and HR teams (Europe and UK) Process and distribute P45s and P60s where necessary. Proactively share specialist payroll advice within the HR team. Assist the HR department by completing any other reasonable requests.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements



Minimum 3 years' payroll experience would be preferable, but suitable equivalent qualifications will also be considered. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of PAYE and HMRC payroll regulations. Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines with high attention to detail. Understanding of payroll and pension legislation. Proven experience in successfully implementing or migrating payroll or HRIS systems. Proven experience in high-volume payroll processing. Positive attitude and good teamwork skills. High working standards and ethics Demonstrate excellent communication and confidentiality skills

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
