Do you have experience working as a Payroll Administrator, but are keen to expand your experience? Are you ready to join a forward-thinking company that delivers progression and personal growth?
We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us on a full time, permanent basis at our Waitrose site in Leyland PR7. Here you will be responsible for the administration of the time and attendance system, facilitating the team to deliver a timely and accurate payroll service.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working Monday to Friday, 8am till 4pm, however if it suits your work life balance, we can be flexible on your start and end time, if you wouldn\xe2\x80\x99t mind being flexible with us on occasions when getting paid is paramount, this is logistics after all!

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking to offer a salary of up to \xc2\xa325,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do on a typical day:

  • Act as first point of contact for employees regarding all things payroll, dealing with pay queries and taking the time to understand the issue, whilst liaising with relevant parties to rectify the problem
  • Run monthly payroll and do adequate checks before submitting it for approval
  • Ensure payroll records are accurate and processed in line with company standards
  • Effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders, responding appropriately to all communications in a professional and timely manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience in a fast-paced payroll environment
  • An ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • A collaborative and friendly approach supported by excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
