Job Description

Our client, a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their payroll department. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the payroll department.

Duties:

• Supervising the payroll assistant and managing the payroll team effectively.
• Maintaining effective communication with clients via email and telephone, ensuring their payroll needs are met efficiently.
• Processing both weekly and monthly payroll using a range of software systems such as Sage, Xero, and Intuit.
• Registering new payrolls and pension schemes as required.
• Issuing clients with accurate and timely payroll reports.
• Ensuring compliance with Real-Time Information (RTI) requirements.
• Making submissions to pension companies on behalf of clients.
• Addressing any payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant payroll experience
• Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles and processes.
• Prior experience with Sage payroll bureau will be highly desirable.
• Diploma of Higher Education.
