Job Description
Beckingtons Chartered Certified Accountants are looking for a Payroll Administrator/Supervisor to join their hard working office based team.
Experience of working in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau is desirable.
The role is office based on Clifton Moor, York.

Key Responsibilities
Processing multiple weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls Setting up new payroll schemes Sage 50 payroll experience advantageous Have a clear understanding of payroll Auto enrolment duties/ setting up pension schemes with multiple providers Processing starter/leavers/SMP/SSP Communicating with clients by telephone/email and dealing with any payroll queries Deal with correspondence and enquiries from HMRC,DWP and any other external payroll matters.
Requirements:
At least a year's payroll experience, ideally in a bureau background or accountancy practice Experience running multiple payrolls Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines Knowledge of payroll systems, ideally Sage Payroll Able to work well as part of a team and independently
