We are delighted to announce that we have acquired Yodel, one of the UK's largest delivery companies. The acquisition builds on the partnership established between InPost and Yodel in 2024, when Yodel began providing last-mile delivery through InPost's "locker-to-door" service.




Today we become truly unique as the only delivery partner with a one-stop shop offer - we have the largest out of home delivery network that is now combined with to-door capabilities. Going forward, the acquisition of Yodel brings immediate scale to InPost's operations, expands our service offering, and provides greater convenience to retailers and customers.



About the role:




We are looking for a Payroll Advisor to join our team and take on a pivotal role in providing excellent customer service and expert payroll knowledge to the department.


You'd be part of a team that thrives on accuracy and compliance, working to ensure the correct payment processing of earnings. You will play a vital role in understanding and applying payroll legislation, supporting the Yodel business with expert advice.

What you'll be doing:



To provide advice and guidance on payslip issues and queries. This will include liaising with the payslip provider. To provide advice and guidance on tax related issues. To ensure all new starters are automatically enrolled into the correct pension scheme at the correct time to ensure compliance. To distribute all legislative documentation to the managed payroll service including those from the Child Support Agency and Court Orders are processed in a timely manner. To respond to all legislative information requests from all external organisation. To ensure all 3rd Party Payments are reconciled and paid within the allocated timeframes. To ensure that vouchers, e.g. childcare are reconciled and paid within the allocated timeframes. To understand the maternity, adoption and paternity (absence) terms and conditions to support the provision of manual calculations and the accuracy of the payment. Processing of company sick pay on a month by month basis Processing of company average pay on a month by month basis Extract & collate variable pay data for processing.

We'd be particularly excited to hear from you if you have:





Previous experience of working within an in-house payroll environment Certificate in Payroll Practice (CIPP) - Desirable HR experience Experience within Republic of Ireland payroll
