What you'll be doing:




As a Payroll Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our colleagues are paid correctly and on time. You'll be trusted to:


Deliver accurate weekly payroll

using CoreHR, ensuring timely updates and data integrity.

Handle payroll queries and statutory payments

(sickness, maternity, paternity, adoption) with professionalism.

Process commissions, deductions, expenses, and third-party claims

in line with policy and legislation.

Support audits and collaborate with internal teams and external bodies

like HMRC and DWP to ensure compliance.

What We're Looking For




Strong knowledge of payroll legislation

and hands-on experience in payroll or financial processing.

Excellent attention to detail

and organisational skills to manage complex data accurately.

Proficient in Microsoft Office

and payroll systems (CoreHR experience is a plus).

Relevant qualifications

, including GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above) and/or CPP certification.

Railway knowledge

would be advantageous
