We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic administrator with previous experience payroll and pensions within the care sector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our head office supporting both our manager and the staff team.
Skills and experience needed
Be a good team player

Have proven experience of working to tight deadlines
Have some understanding of payroll legislation
Excellent customer services skills
Ability to perform manual calculations as and when required
Knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations
Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
Knowledge of UK tax legislation
Duties and responsibilities
Process payroll within specified deadlines
Provide administrative services for pensions
Be responsible for all administration related to the task above including filling
Answer queries from internal and external contacts
Process all new starters, leavers, absence, statutory leave and pay
Process and reconcile all fixed pay instructions e.g. basic salary changes, pay uplifts etc
Prepare journals for submission to finance along with any other information required to ensure accurate financial statements
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake one.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have the right to work in the UK, with 6-12 months care or support professional experience within the UK, with a 5yr checkable work history with a minimum of 3 years professional referencing. We cannot accept care or support of family members as experience. Due to the nature of this service, some roles be temp to perm, in which case you may start on a temporary contract then once you have established good solid relationships with the service users you will transfer over to a permanent contract.
