Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Assistant to join the Accounting & Finance department within the financial services industry. This temporary role is based in London and requires a detail-oriented individual to support payroll operations effectively.

  • Oversee payroll delivery for employees in London and Dublin, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act as a go-to expert for payroll processes and systems, providing guidance and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Partner with policy and process owners to ensure systems and procedures meet legislative standards.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing payroll services, including process optimization and system upgrades.
Are you immediately available or available on short notice?Have you got experience with UK and Ireland payroll?
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
  • Previous experience in payroll processing for UK and Ireland within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant software - ideally SDWorx.
  • Understanding of tax regulations and statutory deductions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for handling payroll queries.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
