Job Role



This is a part time role of 20 - 25 hours per week.



The general role will be that of processing clients payroll and providing relevant reports to the clients. This will include processing payroll, uploading pension information and preparing for the upcoming payrolling benefits in kind. This role will also include liaising with clients directly and answering relevant queries.



The role will include the following:



Being responsible for your own client base, meeting relevant deadlines, contacting and dealing with client queries as well as processing these queries.



Processing payroll from beginning to end using Brightpay including salary calculations, ensuring tax efficient calculations for directors and assuring our clients are NMW efficient.



Processing on weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls



Uploading pension to various pension companies



Processing journals as required



Implementing re-enrolments on auto enrolment when needed



Prepare and submit re-enrolment declarations to the TPR



Processing year ends



Producing reports for accounts team as and when needed, assisting them with queries



Keeping rotas and spreadsheets up to date



Dealing with HMRC queries relating to PAYE



Assisting with the implementation of the P11D system onto our relevant payrolls



Attending one to one meeting with manager, to discuss needs and ideas



Covering Managers holiday /Sickness



This is a busy role with direct client contact and monthly deadlines to meet. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise in a busy environment, whilst managing client expectations.



Role requirements



The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following skills:



Communicating with clients



Managing deadlines



Liaising with senior management



Working in a team



Strong attention to detail



Strong people skills



The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some knowledge of payroll and ideally have experience processing payroll. Whilst not required a payroll qualification would be advantageous.



Remuneration



This role comes with an attractive package



Annual salary of 25,000 - 28,000 pro rata depending on experience and qualifications



Employer Company Pension contributions of 3%



Annual leave of 21 days plus bank holiday, plus 2 additional days to be taken at set times.



We offer 1 day per year volunteer day for you to use volunteering at a local charity of your choice (in addition to your annual leave)



On successful completion of your probationary period, we also offer up to 2 days per week WFH, this is booked in advance through our annual leave system, and is at managers discretion.



We have a team lunch once a month courtesy of Pinfields



We have a busy social calendar which all members of staff are invited to, but no pressure, if that's not your thing.
