Job Summary

Salary: Depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm hybrid

Location: 40 Grosvenor Place, Hybrid 3 days per week

Contract: Permanent

What are we looking for?

Reporting to the Head of Reward we are looking for an experienced payroll professional to predominantly manage our weekly payroll. This is an exciting opportunity to help build our new weekly payroll functionality.

You will have previous experience processing multi-cycle payrolls and previous experience in implementing and/or process re-engineering is desirable.

What will your duties include?

Delivery of CCL\xe2\x80\x99s payroll for c.1500 caregivers encompassing all elements of monthly payroll processing including base pay & wide variety of variable pay elements which includes both monthly and weekly

Responsible for collating and submitting payroll input via CCL payroll systems (Workday and Kronos) to the outsourced payroll provider, along with other payroll linked administration processes.

Managing payroll inbox and being first point of contact for all payroll queries.

Participating in monthly payroll drop-in sessions across CCL sites.

Ensuring CCL compliance with UK regulations and assisting with CCL audit preparation.

Working closely with the Pay & Benefits Business Partner to ensure pay policies and procedures are always up to date and relevant.

Responsible for the timely payment and balancing of monthly pension contributions.

Managing the payroll reconciliation process with Finance, ensuring balance of General Ledger.

Assist in the preparation of year end statutory requirements e.g. P11D\xe2\x80\x99s, P60\xe2\x80\x99s, PSA preparation

Presenting Reward overview at caregiver induction sessions

Other duties as assigned

What we need from you?

Bachelors degree is preferred, but relevant experience will offset the degree

Demonstrable track record as a Payroll Specialist or equivalent is essential

Significant experience in running UK payroll for varying cycles is essential

Familiar with payroll systems and tax laws, as well as proficient in common office applications, such as the Microsoft Office Suite is essential

Experience with Workday HR and Kronos desirable

Previous experience of working with complex payroll arrangements incorporating salaried and shift workers

Previous experience working in an HR Partner structure desirable but not essential

Team player with strong communication skills

Self-motivated and highly organized to meet required deadlines
