Role Overview
We are seeking a
Payroll Compliance Specialist
to join our team supporting a FTSE 100 client. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple regions, maintaining compliance with UK & Ireland legislation, and contributing to payroll system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately for UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and international employees.
Provide expert payroll advice and manual calculations.
Ensure compliance with income tax, NI/SI, pensions, and wage legislation.
Support payroll governance and audit controls.
Collaborate with project teams on test strategies and software releases.
Manage payroll reversals and results analysis.
Handle pension schemes, BACS approvals, and tax documentation (P6, P9, P45).
Submit Real Time Information to HMRC and resolve queries.
Maintain data storage and documentation in line with audit controls.

Essential Criteria
Experience in
Payroll Software Testing
or similar.
Knowledge of
SAP Testing Platforms
.
Strong initiative, attention to detail, and time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
Desirable Criteria
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
Awareness of data protection laws.
Ability to prioritize with minimal supervision.
