Data Administrator within Payroll
to join our HR and Payroll team at our
ASOS
site, in
Barnsley.
This role is a perfect blend of payroll processing and data management, supporting the smooth delivery of payroll while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll be working
Monday to Friday,
covering the hours of
08:30 till 17:00.

26,500
per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
Producing reports and dashboards using Excel (
Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Models
)
Supporting weekly and monthly payroll cycles, including overtime, absence, and holiday records
Support statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SPP), HMRC forms, and compliance reporting
Implement and maintain payroll trackers, spreadsheets, and databases for accurate monitoring of pay, attendance, and absence data
Maintaining accurate payroll data across HRIS and Time & Attendance systems
Responding to payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
Auditing and cleansing data to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Strong administrative experience, ideally in payroll or data-heavy roles
Advances Excell skills (
)
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication
Knowledge of UK Payroll legislation and experience with HRIS or T&A Systems are a bonus!
