Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Coordinator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting software, as well as excellent analytical skills to support the overall efficiency of our payroll operations.

Duties



Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in data entry and compliance with company policies. Utilise HRIS systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or other accounting software to manage employee records and payroll data. Perform accounts payable functions related to payroll, including the reconciliation of discrepancies. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any issues that arise. Collaborate with the human resources department to maintain accurate employee information and assist with onboarding processes. Prepare reports and analyses related to payroll metrics for management review. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters in a professional manner.

Requirements



Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably within a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or other relevant systems. Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and their application in payroll management. Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail. Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. A background in human resources is advantageous but not essential.
