Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. 35 hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
Verify weekly payments & absence that have been input by Managers
Identify & potentially rectify any discrepancies
Upload & check data spreadsheets into the payroll system
Create reports for information pertaining to payroll
Handle voluntary and involuntary deductions
Enter changes to employee payroll & HR records
Reconcile the monthly payroll to generated reports
Action leavers & any department transfers (approx. 40-60 per month)
Track underlying trends with issues such as absence
Communicate with Managers & employees regarding changes in role, salary, benefits, etc.
Support the HR function with uniform ordered & invoice reconciliation
Awareness of pension legislation & reporting
Advise Management in HR matters such as policy, procedures, employment law, recruitment & retention
Answer employee questions about policy and procedures, and refers to specialist as needed
Provides overall administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining, processing documentation and records
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own. In time, the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the payroll.
Payroll experience is essential with at least one year in current role
Midland HR/iTrent HR/Payroll knowledge is desirable.
Candidates must be highly proficient in Excel.
The role reports directly to the HR & Payroll Manager.
