Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to lead and manage payroll operations within the engineering sector. The role is based in Didsbury Manchester and requires strong expertise in payroll management and compliance.
The Payroll Manager role is initially a 12 Month Fixed Term contract and will be Hybrid working- 3 days in Didsbury office /2 remote.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage the payroll function to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to support financial reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries.
• Manage payroll systems and implement process improvements where needed.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee data management.
• Support audits and maintain payroll documentation.
