We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, human resources, and accounting software. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Utilise payroll software such as Workday, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft for efficient payroll processing.
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity through regular audits.
Process data entry for new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
Oversee accounts payable related to payroll expenses and ensure timely payments.
Conduct regular analysis of payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Collaborate with the human resources team to address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Prepare reports for management on payroll metrics and compliance issues.
Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting payroll processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role within a corporate environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and regulations related to payroll management.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
