Payroll Officer | Hybrid | Nottingham | 28,000 - 30,000 per annum

Payroll Officer

and help ensure accurate and timely payroll for our dedicated employees.

Location:

Nottingham NG1 (Hybrid - 3 flexible office days per week)

Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:30am-16:30pm (30-min lunch break)

What You'll Be Doing:



Processing monthly and weekly payrolls end-to-end Managing electronic timekeeping and accurate pay distribution Reconciling timesheets, calculating holiday pay, and maintaining employee payroll records Handling statutory payments, pensions, student loans, tax codes, and holiday accruals Investigating and resolving payroll issues Liaising with HR on employee changes and supporting compliance reporting (ONS, NMW audits)

What We're Looking For:



Prior experience in a payroll role (weekly and monthly cycles) Familiarity with payroll systems (Select Pay and/or People Planner preferred) Confident with manual calculations and data accuracy Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset Awareness of payroll regulations, data protection, and audit processes CIPP qualification is a plus, but not essential
