An exciting, rare flexible working opportunity exists for an experienced

Payroll Officer

to join a busy team within a friendly established firm based in Sale, Cheshire. This position offers the successful applicant a full time position, yet only actually working a

4.5 day week! On top of this is HYBRID working (2 days home, 3 in office) and generous benefits.

The

Payroll Officer

role is working within an established payroll department running your own full end to end payrolls. The successful applicant should possess previous end to end payroll processing experience in a similar position processing payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/four weekly/monthly basis.

Role Responsibilities

Working completely autonomously as part of a small, friendly team ensuring timely and accurate processing of c200 payrolls via SAGE as part of the team(knowledge of SAGE preferable) HMRC liaison, RTI submissions Processing statutory payments SSP/SMP Auto enrolment/pensions Resolving payroll queries Supporting team members as necessary Process starters/leavers, P45/P46 EPS/CIS, P60s, year end.

Person Specification

Ideally knowledge of SAGE payroll software Experience within a full end to end payroll/payroll bureau role. Excellent organisation and time management abilities Good attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills.
