Key Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of client payrolls being weekly, 2 weekly, 4 weekly and monthly. Accurately process payroll (end to end) including pension and RTI update. Analyse payroll data for discrepancies and resolve any issues. Prepare statutory deductions, attachment orders and other earnings/deductions. Holiday calculations and pension administration (changes, auto enrolment etc.) Dealing with BACs payments, and manual calculations - SMP, SSP, SPP / pension uploads. Process P60, P45 and P46 submissions. Liaise with 3rd parties for PAYE/Pension queries. Processing salary adjustments, bonusing & commissions.

Knowledge and Experience:

Use of SAGE 50 payroll software is ideal but not essential as training will be provided Ability to work on own initiative, working within a team and the ability to meet deadlines Strong communication skills (both verbal and written English) and confidence when dealing with clients Good organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial information Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A strong team player who is willing to actively work across the team, adopting a can-do and flexible attitude
