Purpose of the role


Reporting to the Head of Payroll the Payroll Project Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of payroll related projects in United Infrastructure. The role requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with experience in supporting the successful delivery of payroll projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated administrative and operational project support to the Head of Payroll throughout the lifecycle of payroll projects. Support project planning, tracking and reporting to monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed. Assist with documenting project requirements, mapping workflows and standard operating procedures. Conduct data analysis, testing and validation to ensure payroll accuracy and system integrity. Support the delivery of project communications ensuring key stakeholders are aware of project milestones and progress. Assist with developing and delivering training materials and user guides Act as a liaison between the payroll team, internal teams (HR, Finance) and external vendors to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting in the creation, delivery and documentation of outcomes. Identify risks, issues and opportunities for improvement within payroll operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience supporting payroll project delivery. Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation and compliance requirements. Familiarity and experience with Workday or other payroll systems preferable Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders Strong problem solving and analytical skills Proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
