We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Service Coordinator to serve as the first line of support for all employee payroll queries, providing timely and accurate assistance while ensuring all queries are properly logged and tracked through to resolution.





In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional payroll customer service to our ISS placemakers, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and with care.


You will manage queries within the payroll query management system, adhering to departmental service level agreements and maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and accuracy.


This position plays a key role in promoting employee satisfaction and trust by ensuring consistent, reliable support on payroll-related matters.


Key Responsibilities




Respond to first-line payroll queries via the payroll query management system, phone, and email for salaried employees. Log, resolve, or assign queries in accordance with departmental service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor and follow up on outstanding queries daily to ensure timely resolution. Provide high-quality payroll customer service in collaboration with the wider payroll team, ensuring a seamless experience for all placemakers. Support the Payroll Service Manager with ad hoc tasks during critical payroll periods. Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and identify query trends to support root cause analysis and process improvement.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications




Demonstrated passion and skill for delivering first-class, professional customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Proficient in IT, including Excel and Outlook; confident in handling and working with data. Well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Flexible and adaptable, providing full support to the team as needed. Skilled at building and maintaining effective working relationships with team members and internal stakeholders. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
