PAYROLL SPECIALIST (Bureau - Managed Services)

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid

Salary: 29K - 33K DOE

Hours: 9AM - 5PM Monday - Friday

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/UNDERSTANDING REQUIRED:

Payroll Bureau Manual Payroll, Tax and NI calculations Annual Directors NI Advanced Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) Statutory maternity rules, pension rules & compliance
You will be joining a growing and ambitious consultancy business with a global client base across multiple industries to help prepare, deliver and streamline their payroll processes (this business is currently acting as a payroll bureau to 18 countries).

It would highly be advantageous if you have experience of global payroll operations and be somewhat familiar with different rules for different countries. Previous experience in the key areas listed is required, however, your attitude, capabilities and work ethic is the most important factor for this business.

The business is very keen to develop candidates that are flexible, have the right mindset and a 'can do' attitude. This is a growing and ever changing business and is often chaotic due to ever changing demands and challenges, so the right candidate will be able to think on their feet and be comfortable in this type of working environment.

You will be dealing with both regular and new clients each month, both large and small, as part of an outsourced payroll service for external businesses.

A supportive and flexible training structure is in place but it is not a one size fits all and this business appreciates that individuals are unique and have different capabilities and strengths.

Working closely with your colleagues, people will describe you as 'switched on' and you will be able to build a good rapport with customers over the phone and in video meetings.
