The Role



Our employees are a key asset in us delivering on our strategic aims. It goes without saying that we need to ensure our 1700+ employees are paid accurately and on time. Having recently centralised our payroll team and are transitioning towards the use of an outsourced partner, we are looking for a globally experienced payroll professional of managing multiple payrolls, ideally with experience of working with or within an outsourced provider.



What you will do



Payroll Preparation & Disbursement



Ensure that we provide timely and accurate data to Safeguard Global (our outsourced provider) on a timely basis in line with the payroll schedules for our locations

Ensuring business stakeholders (i.e. HR and other Finance teams) adhere to payroll timetables and deadlines

Uploading payment files to the bank for each payroll you are responsible for, as well as ensuring local payroll tax payments are delivered

Support the local HR teams with complex payroll queries, such as those related to specific deductions, tax codes, national insurance/social security deductions etc.

Support other areas in Finance with accounting and payroll activities



Payroll and Project Accounting



Processing journal entries (regular payroll, special payments and other) into ERP as required based on Journal report provided by Safeguard Global

Perform Project Accounting for costs relating to Kindred projects and ensure are correctly accounted (i.e. OPEX, CAPEX etc)

Ensure submission of complete time sheets are in line with company deadlines for accurate and reporting/payroll accounting



Payroll Reporting and Audits



Responsible to prepare all local payroll reporting to local authorities accurately as required by local legislation

Responsible to keep up to date with changes in local payroll regulations

Responsible to provide accurate information relating to payrolls to auditors during interim and annual financial audits



Safeguard Implementation & Delivery



Support the Group Payroll Manager and HR team in the transition from our current payroll provider to our Global Payroll Provider for each location on our roadmap

Monitor the performance post-implementation of the payrolls you own and recommend changes and improvements to deliver a smooth service

Work closely with our HR Operations team to ensure we have an efficient and effective process for delivering a large number of payrolls

Your Experience

3+ years experience within a similar payroll position, completing end-to-end payroll

Minimum 2 years' experience in delivering across number of EMEA and/or APAC payrolls

Experience with handling and managing vendor relationships or experience working in a vendor

Experience maintaining and delivering documented processes and procedures for payroll

An ability to work effectively and efficiently within a high volume role, whilst being able to meet strict deadlines

Strong excel skills

Strong attention to detail and able to work in a dynamic and busy environment

Experience with Safeguard (Desirable)

Level 3 CIPP qualification (Desirable)
