Payroll Specialist

Job Description
Our client, a global business based in Stevenage is now recruiting for someone who is experienced in payroll to join their business HR function.
Working closely with the outsourced payroll provider your role will be varied and duties will include
- Liaising both internally and externally to ensure the smooth running of the payroll function
- Working closely with external payroll supplier, addressing and resolving issues as they arise
- Compliance and controls review and recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate
- Streamlining processes from start to end, including reporting
- Liaising with auditors relating to pay delivery
- Ad hoc project work including pensions, pay and gap reporting et al
As part of the wider HR team, the role requires a professional and confidential approach alongside a keen eye for detail and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Experience of ResourceLink and Workday would be a distinct advantage but strong IT skills are paramount.
