We're looking for a Payroll System Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our payroll systems. What you'll be doing:
Supporting payroll system functionality and contributing to process improvements
Undertaking system testing and validating changes to ensure accuracy and resilience
Providing technical support and recommending solutions to complex payroll issues
Collaborating with change agents to adapt systems to evolving business needs
Monitoring non-production environments and conducting regular data reviews
Performing disaster recovery testing and contingency planning
Assisting with project delivery and embedding business testing processes
Covering aspects of implementation during team absences to maintain service continuity
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
Demonstrating initiative in troubleshooting and issue resolution
Communicating effectively across all levels of the organisation
Applying strong analytical skills to system functionality and defect management
Prioritising tasks using structured approaches such as MoSCoW
Planning and organising testing activities with attention to detail
Working inclusively and collaboratively within a team environment
Understanding payroll processes and regulatory frameworks
Bringing experience in user testing across multiple project phases (e.g. SIT, BAT, PAT)
