Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered
Salary: Band 4 ARRS EQUIVALENT (27,485 - 30,162 per annum, pro rata)

About the Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic and growing team within the Hertford & Rurals Primary Care Network (PCN). This is a fantastic chance to be part of a forward-thinking team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across our GP practices.

As a Band 4 ARRS Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our clinical pharmacists, GPs, and wider multidisciplinary team to support medicines optimisation, medicines reconciliation, medicines management audits, repeat prescription optimisation, and patient safety initiatives. Please note this is not an agenda for change role and is funded through the ARRS scheme. You will have opportunities to learn from an established team and be provided with training and support to carry out the role.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of structured medication reviews and medicines reconciliation. Promote safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines. Provide support for audits, quality improvement projects, and formulary compliance. Contribute to patient education and self-care initiatives. Assist with repeat prescription processes and queries.

What We're Looking For

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Experience in primary care, community, or hospital pharmacy settings. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to working in a multidisciplinary team. Confidence in using IT systems and electronic patient records.
